The organization of the XVI Half Marathon of Formentera and the 8KM Sant Ferran-La Savina, which will be held on May 17, 2025, announces the opening of the period to request pre-registration for one of the two races starting today, Wednesday, November 6, and until next November 27. In this edition, the total number of places remains the same as last year: 2,000 for the Half Marathon and 1,000 for the 8KM.
In order to obtain a place, it is necessary to previously participate in the pre-registration process, which is free and is carried out through the official website of the event http://www.marato-formentera.com/. If once the pre-registration is finished there are more athletes pre-registered than places available, a draw for places will be held before a notary on November 29.

Residents of Formentera and those who have participated in five or more editions are exempt from pre-registration, and in both cases they have a guaranteed place. The former can request it through the Sports area of ​​the Consell de Formentera, while the latter will receive an email with a code to access the platform and confirm their registration.

On November 29, the organization will draw the remaining available places among all those who have pre-registered, before a notary, once the places formalized by those who have taken the test in 5 or more editions have been discounted. Once the draw has been made, the winners will be able to confirm their registration between December 3 and 23.

Re-booking of places

In the event that those who have won the draw do not confirm their registration within the established period, a single re-booking of places will be opened from December 30 until the places are filled.
