The draw for places for the XVI Formentera Half Marathon and the 8KM Sant Ferran-La Savina held today before a notary in the Consell de Formentera, to allocate the 3,000 places available between the two events has smiled on those pre-registered with numbers 631 to 2,630 in the Half Marathon, while those lucky enough to process their registration in the 8K have been those pre-registered with numbers 10,565-10-729 and 8,001-8,836.

Once again, it has been necessary to go to the draw for places after the pre-registration period closed with 7,965 athletes between both events, far exceeding the 3,000 authorised places (2,000 for the Half Marathon and 1,000 for the 8K). Now, the winners will be able to confirm their registration between the 3rd and 23rd of December through the official website of the race http://www.marato-formentera.com/.

In the event that the winners of the draw do not confirm their registration in the aforementioned event, a single second chance for places will be opened from the 30th of December until the places are exhausted.

The draw held today before the notary of Formentera was attended by the president of Formentera, Llorenç Córdoba, and the general director of Unisport, Manuel Hernández.
