Everything is ready for the 16th Formentera Island Half Marathon and the Sant Ferran-La Savina 8K, which will take place today, Saturday, May 17th, with more than 3,500 runners participating. The start of both races will be at 6:00 p.m. The Half Marathon, as usual, will start from the La Mola lighthouse, and the 8K will start from Sant Ferran. The joint finish line will be located on the Paseo de la Marina in La Savina.

The race once again offers the opportunity to cross the island from one end to the other, completing the 21,095.2 meters of a half marathon, providing a great incentive for participants and a unique experience.

The race maintains its commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices, reducing single-use plastic and reducing environmental impact. Additionally, at the finish line, a rigid water bottle filled with water will be distributed to all runners as they cross the finish line, along with a finisher's medal.

And at the start of the Half Marathon, the entertainment tent will once again be located, as has been the case in recent years, 500 meters from the actual race start, to maximize the virot habitat.
